Ingredients
-
2 tbs extra-virgin olive oil or coconut oil
-
1/2 cup popping corn
-
1.5 tbs nutritional yeast flakes
-
1.5 tbs smoked paprika
-
Salt, to taste
Directions
Heat the oil in a large covered saucepan over medium heat. We recommend using a heavy-bottom saucepan to avoid sticking.
Add 3-4 kernels to the pot, cover, and wait for the kernels to pop.
Once popped, remove the pot from heat and add the rest of the popping corn in a single layer, cover, gently shake and keep off the heat for 30 seconds.
After 30 seconds, place back on the heat and gently shake the pot back and forward over the heat.
Once the popping slows to 5 seconds between pops, remove from heat and place popcorn in a serving bowl.
Toss popcorn with paprika, yeast flakes and salt, to taste.
