Directions
Preheat oven to 180C degrees and lightly grease a silicone donut pan.
In a small bowl, soften the butter and cinnamon donut spread in the microwave, about 20 seconds. Stir well to combine and leave to cool slightly.
In a large bowl, beat the egg and mix in the buttermilk, vanilla & butter mixture.
Add the flour, sugar, baking powder & cinnamon and fold in until everything is combined.
Carefully spoon mixture into the donut pan until about 3/4 full.
Bake for around 10 minutes in the preheated oven, until doughnuts spring back when touched.
Allow to cool slightly before removing from pan and placing on a cooling rack.
While donuts are cooling, make the glaze.
In a small bowl, soften the butter. Add the icing sugar and vanilla and stir to combine. Slowly add the milk, one teaspoon at a time, until desired consistency is achieved. Dip the donuts into the glaze and place them back on a cooling rack. Crumble 1/2 a biscuit cookie over each donut.
