Ingredients
-
2 puff pastry sheets
-
1/2 jar of cinnamon donut spread
-
1 egg
-
1 handful roasted peanuts, crushed
Directions
Remove your puff pastry sheets from the freezer to defrost.
Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius.Once your puff pastry sheets are soft, with the back of a spoon spread cinnamon donut spread over the sheet leaving a 1cm gap around the edges, do the same with the second puff pastry sheet.
In a small bowl beat the egg to create an egg wash, brush egg wash on the 1cm edges of your pastry sheet.
Roll up each sheet starting from the long edge if there is one into a roll.
Use a sharp knife to cut the roll into approx 3cm slices.
Place scrolls onto your baking tray and brush with remaining egg wash.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
Sprinkle crushed peanuts on top and serve warm.
