Ingredients
-
500g handcrafted paleo granola
-
800g tinned apple slices
-
180g cinnamon donut spread
-
125g butter, melted
Directions
Preheat oven to 180°C.
In a pie dish (approx 25cm), place your apples in the bottom and flatten out with a spatula.
Place your cinnamon donut spread onto the apples. (We used two teaspoons to spread it around, it doesn't need to be perfect).
Add your granola and melted butter in a mixing bowl, mix well, then spread over the apples and cinnamon donut in the pie dish.
Bake for 30-40 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve warm. Bonus points if you serve with ice cream!
Recipe Note
This recipe also tastes amazing without the cinnamon donut spread, or you can sub out for another spread like cashew coconut!
